about us

where do we meet?

We are not made to live a life of loneliness. Our faith is not to be lived out in isolation. We hunger for a sense of belonging. Everyone needs a place they can call home. Church should be somewhere that we can be ourselves and feel at home. Somewhere that it is safe to be real.

We want Coventry Vineyard to be a vibrant community, where people are able to do life together, helping and supporting each other as we live this life as followers of Jesus.

During the week we meet in Small Groups in people's homes. These Small Groups are the main way in which someone can get plugged into the life of Coventry Vineyard. They are the place we share life. This is where we live out our common purpose of being apprentices to Jesus, sharing the journey.

The Sunday Gathering

Nexus Building
Each week we gather together on Sunday morning at the Nexus Building on Albany Road in Earlsdon from 10am to 12pm.

Sunday morning is about being church together.  You may have many thoughts on “church”, for us church is life. It’s the gathering of those who believe in Jesus and in his revolution.

We want people to feel “at home” on a Sunday morning, so for the first half hour we chat over coffee, get to know one another and share our lives.

We then continue worshipping God in the form of singing songs and reflecting on God.

After this we listen, learn and discuss some aspect of following Jesus. This lasts for about 30 minutes. Following the talk there is an opportunity for people to respond to God by getting some prayer or talking with someone.

For more information on the kidswork available during the morning, see the kids page, under the heading church life.
